Hello, Not Another Newsletter Subscribers,
Substack’s recent decision to use Apple’s in-app purchase option for subscriptions instead of Stripe concerns me. Instead of getting my money immediately, as with Stripe, I have to wait 45 days to get said money. And on top of this, Substack has been increasingly recommending Nazi blogs. While I do not write as my full-time job, I am worried about getting adequate recompense for my writing due to these new changes.
This is why I’ll be moving to Beehiv. I’ll be importing your subscriptions, so don’t worry about losing Not Another Newsletter. I also migrated my posts from Substack to Beehiv, so you’ll still have my vast post archive.
